I got her when I was new into plants in 2020. She kept thriving and growing with no problems at all. Novice me even put her in Miracle-Gro soil day 1 lol She still kept growing. So, when I started researching more about caletheas, I was surprised to find out how difficult and temperamental they are to up keep. I don't do anything special with her, I treat her just like my other plants. I did get another calethea but it died in a month. Anyways, I wanted to show her off; I'm proud how much she's grown!

How big was she when you got her. Mine’s doing well, even in the crappy Arizona climate. Just repotted him and he’s LOVING his new home.I hope I have the same luck.
Like I always say, we can’t choose the plants, the plants choose us! That’s how it is with my spider plant. I do literally nothing and it’s huge. Beautiful plant!

I just lost mine , idk why I tried everything and she still just died , I love this plant and yours is a beauty. I must not have the right home for this type. 😔

Very similar experience with mine! Started out a little bigger than yours, and I’ve had her about a year now. No idea what I was doing at first, just consistent watering, and she’s gotten huge! I hope it gets as big and beautiful as yours!
